Sustainable Holiday in the Kitzbühel Alps

At Das Hohe Salve - Move & Relax, energy is increasingly resource-efficient and climate-friendly generated. In addition to LED lighting , photovoltaic systems are used, which generate a portion of the required electricity directly on site. Approximately 50% of the resort's heating is done via heat pumps. Also e-charging stations support more conscious mobility during your stay.

The drinking water in Brixental impresses with high quality and can be drunk directly from the tap. A filled water bottle with a note about the regional tap water is provided in the room for this purpose. This way we reduce the use of plastic bottles and at the same time forgo the additional energy consumption of a minibar.

For us, using resources consciously begins with many small decisions in everyday life. That is why we focus on reusable solutions for packaging and materials as much as possible and avoid unnecessary single-use items. We also ensure clear cycles in waste recycling: valuable materials are collected separately, organic waste is processed meaningfully.

In the kitchen, natural ingredients, short supply chains, and regional partnerships are central. A large part of the food used comes from Austria, many components are produced in the kitchens of Pletzer Resorts themselves. Convenience food is largely avoided. Regional partners include Maier Fruit Wholesaler and the Quellfisch Fish Pond Schwendt.

When it comes to meat, we also pay attention to a responsible approach to the product. In our own agriculture in Schwoich, among other things, Pustertaler Sprinzen are kept and processed as holistically as possible. This way, regionality, appreciation, and the most complete possible use of food combine to form a resource-saving approach.

At Das Hohe Salve - Move & Relax, sustainability includes not only ecological measures. Also, a appreciative and equal coexistence of employees, guests, and regional partners is part of the house's understanding of sustainability. Ecological, economic, and social responsibility are considered together.

Das Hohe Salve - Move & Relax is particularly easy to reach by public transport . The train station Hopfgarten Berglift is only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. On-site, e-cars for rent are also available, with which Brixental and the Kitzbühel Alps can be explored flexibly and with low emissions.

In the Move & Relax area, consciously selected products are also used. For cosmetic and wellness applications, mostly natural cosmetics from selected manufacturers, including REVIDERMare used. Thus, Das Hohe Salve combines regeneration and care with a more conscious approach to products and resources.
