Our mountain bike guides in Sportresort Das Hohe Salve
Book guided mountain bike excursions in Brixental
In Sportresort Hohe Salve there is a mountain bike event every evening between spring and winter. In the ‘Bike Corner’ between the bar and the restaurant all mountain bike enthusiasts meet at 17.30. One of our guests is always there. Then, tours for the following day are discussed – and weather conditions, questions about mountain bikes available for hire and the right equipmentare discussed too.
Those staying at the hotel and day visitors who are interested, can register for a guided mountain bike tour at Reception. E-gravel bikes can be rented directly from the resort. E-bikes can be rented by our hotel guests for 45 euros per day from our partner Intersport Oberhauser directly opposite. Advice – including individual fitting – is carried out by experts. In total there are 40 mountain bikes of varying sizes (for those aged 12-13) and equipment to choose from.
Mountain biking – for beginners and pros
In the morning and afternoon our guests plan a tour: Always organised to suit varying difficulty levels. The interplay between easy trails and those for extreme mountain bikers is part of our well though-out concept. Cycle technique training also takes place before every tour:
- How fit am I?
- How do I sit properly?
- How do I react to any given situation?
Our guides also provide information about navigation in Tyrol’s mountains. Participants also learn how to find their way without the use of GPS.
